  • 2026: Secured landmark housing wins, including $25 million for the Workforce Housing Loan Program, zoning and permitting reforms, and reduced regulatory barriers to housing development.

  • 2026: Helped secure passage of the bipartisan 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act, expanding housing opportunities nationwide.

  • 2025: Successfully amended Senate Bill 690 to allow agent compensation in contracts, strengthen appraiser licensing, and improve protections for property managers and landlords.

  • 2025: Helped pass Senate Bill 55, creating an expedited process for removing unauthorized occupants from residential properties.

  • 2025: Supported revisions to the Brownfields Property Reuse Act, encouraging redevelopment and investment in underutilized properties.

  • 2024: Helped preserve homeownership opportunities for veterans by supporting changes allowing VA buyers to compensate their real estate professional.

  • 2024: Worked with state leaders to advance legislation addressing water supply and permitting issues to increase housing supply across North Carolina.

  • 2023: Repealed the $50 Privilege License Tax, which saved our industry nearly $3 million annually.

  • 2021: Helped secure $180 million for the Workforce Housing Loan Program through the Housing Finance Agency.

  • 2021: Ended the NC Eviction Moratorium, which protected NC REALTORS® property managers and their landlord clients.

  • 2020: Legalized remote video notarizations and allowed disbursement of funds prior to deed recording if the Register of Deeds was closed.
