The Raleigh Regional Association of REALTORS® is proud to be featured by the National Association of REALTORS® for its annual You Belong Here Expo, an event designed to help members feel more connected to their association and discover the many opportunities available through RRAR.
Created in 2023 by RRAR’s Communications and Public Relations Committee, the expo brings together committees, councils, Affiliate Partners, volunteer leaders and staff in a fun, welcoming environment. Members can network, explore benefits and programs, learn about leadership opportunities and find meaningful ways to become involved.
“With nearly 10,000 members, we recognized that many of them may not be aware of the committees, councils, programs, leadership opportunities and member benefits available to them,” said Joanne Werstlein, RCE, AHWD, RRAR’s vice president of membership and communications.
The article highlights the expo’s positive impact on both new and longtime members. RRAR estimates that more than half of its committee and council applications come from members who attended the event.
At the heart of You Belong Here is one simple message: Every member has a place at RRAR, with countless opportunities to engage, contribute, and benefit from being part of our REALTOR® community.
This year’s You Belong Here Expo will be held Thursday, October 29, from 4:00 to 6:00 PM and will feature a Halloween theme.
