For the fifth year in a row, Raleigh Regional Association of Realtors® has been awarded the Platinum Global Achievement Program Award for 2022!
The Platinum Council award means that RRAR provides members the highest level of service by giving them the tools, education and networking they need to handle international real estate. NAR also recognized RRAR for working to find innovative ways to connect your council to the global community in the market area and beyond.

RRAR staff and volunteer leaders were also commended for demonstrating high levels of achievement in the five evaluated categories: Business Plan, Marketing & Communication, Events/Education, Outreach, and Benchmarking.
NAR issued the following statement when it gave notice at RRAR about this honor:
"In addition to providing their members with quality networking, research, and education events, the RRAR Global Council has taken their global understanding from inside the Association out into the local, state, national, and international community. Armed with research that shows there is no lack of international interest in their region and the leadership to see into the future, your council rose above the competition and has set the bar for 2022."
A couple of highlights that the Global Council was part of in 2022 were the first-ever International Festival held on RRAR campus. The Association also sponsored the annual Raleigh International Festival - a community-wide event aimed to connect to and show support of the expanding local international community.
Before the awards ceremony in Orlando, RRAR Global Liaison Michele Xiong said about the honor: "Our Global Advisory Group is truly dedicated to providing any members within our Association the right tools and resources for them to achieve in the international business space. It is an honor to work alongside such passionate members and see their work be recognized by NAR".
Xiong attended the NAR ceremony with President Leslie Williams, Global Chair Hannah Chan, and RRAR CEO Dave Phillips.

After the ceremony CEO Phillips has this to say: "Serving our global real estate marketplace is a key part of RRAR's mission statement. Earning this award 5 years in a row is a big deal. Now we have to keep it up and get that Diamond".
With RRAR earning Platinum status for the fifth consecutive year, the Association will be eligible for Diamond status next year. According to NAR, Diamond councils retain their status with biennial reviews of their programs and must continue to meet or exceed the criteria in order to maintain Diamond status.
Only 12 other Associations nationwide have earned Diamond status as of 2022.
