Fuquay-Varina

Fuquay-Varina was originally a destination for those seeking the healing powers of the Fuquay Mineral Spring.  Back in 1805, William Fuquay settled his family from France.  He and his brother Stephan and Dave Crockett uncovered the mineral springs while working their father's farmland in 1858.  People came far and wide to seek the healing powers of the mineral spring.
