RRAR has put diversity, equity, & inclusion (DEI) at the forefront of its strategic plan for the 2021 fiscal year and will continue to do so indefinitely. Currently, the association does not know how diverse its membership is. To better answer the question of “How diverse is RRAR?” there will be new questions in the member profile that will help guide RRAR to address membership gaps in terms of DEI.
The information members provide will stay confidential, will not be disclosed to other members, and is voluntary. RRAR will not sell member information to outside vendors and can ensure that it will strictly be utilized for the betterment of the association. RRAR membership has increased in the past year, and it will prove valuable to determine if additional efforts are needed to ensure that committees, councils, and the Board of Directors are representative of the members they serve. Assuring membership needs are met is and will always be a top priority.
Any questions or concerns regarding these new changes can be directed to RRAR’s Director of Diversity & Inclusion, Michele Xiong at [email protected]
