Due to the public health risk posed by COVID-19, the NC Real Estate Commission has adopted new emergency rules that will go into effect March 26, 2020 for a maximum of 60 days. A summary is provided below for continuing education classes. For a complete list of rules, please visit their website: www.NCREC.gov. Schools and course sponsors shall cancel or suspend all in-person courses until April 30, 2020.

Until June 10, 2020, schools and course sponsors may offer synchronous distance-learning for continuing education courses. “Synchronous distance-learning” means the instructor and students are separated only by distance and not time, allowing for real-time monitoring of student participation.

The Commission shall grant all brokers an extension of time to complete post licensing or continuing education courses. (This date has not been announced) On April 15, 2020, the NC Real Estate Commission will reassess the emergency rules.

We apologize for any inconvenience but look forward to seeing you remotely!
