Impact

Our amazing Foundation & Service Committee team up with REALTOR® Members and our community to help those in the greatest of need!

Cooling Wake Program
Throughout the year, and especially in the summer months, the REALTOR® Foundation of Wake County works with Wake County to help senior citizens in our community get air conditioning units to alleviate their respiratory problems.

Project Angel Tree
Every November, we collaborate with Wake County Guardian ad Litem to collect presents for underprivileged children for the holidays. Since the inception of this program, thousands of Wake County children have had their holiday season touched by the giving and kindness of our amazing donors and volunteers.

Apartment Furnishings
RFOWC has been able to furnish apartments for formerly homeless families making the transition to affordable housing units. Individual and companies have been able to sponsor these apartments, pick out furnishings, and help stage the home so the family walks in feeling like they are home.

Grants
The Community Grants Program provides funding for general operating support to area nonprofit organizations that address unmet housing needs in Wake County. RFOWC prioritizes proven housing-based solutions linked with supportive services. Housing-based solutions focus on moving people who are homeless into transitional housing or affordable rental housing and providing them with the support they need to remain there and potentially even become homeowners.
