TMLS Information Letter
How to
Join TMLS Membership in the Triangle MLS is by Firm
only.
Thank
you for your interest in membership in Triangle MLS, Inc. For your FIRM
to join TMLS you must have the following:
The Principal of the firm, partnership, corporation, or branch office must be
in good standing as a member of any Board of REALTORS®, have a current valid
North Carolina or Virginia real estate broker's license and be capable of offering
and accepting cooperation and compensation to and from other Participants or are
licensed, certified, or trainees as designated by an appropriate state regulatory
agency to engage in the appraisal of real property .
TEMPO
Training TEMPO classes are usually taught every Wednesday
from 9:00am - 12:00pm and 1:00pm - 4:00pm. If you are an existing MLS user and
have taken TEMPO training, you have already met this requirement. New members
of the Raleigh Regional Association of REALTORS® will be scheduled for this
class after applying for Association membership in person.
Members of any Association other than Durham or Chapel Hill will need to call
919-654-5400 (ext. 223) in advance to register.
Orientation
Class Orientation
training is usually offered the first and third Thursday of every month from 1:15
- 3:00pm. Existing MLS users must repeat this requirement if they have never served
as a Broker-in-Charge in MLS or if their original orientation date is more than
two years from today's date.
New members of the Raleigh Regional Association
of REALTORS® will be scheduled for this class after applying for Association
membership in person.
Members of any Association
other than Durham or Chapel Hill will need to call 919-654-5400 (ext.223) in advance
to register.
Please note: Both classes are held at 111 Realtors Way,
Cary.
After
you have completed the above, you will need the following:
TMLS Participant Application.
Complete the Participant Application and bring it to the TMLS office along with
the application fee and $50 for the first month's user fee. Fees may be paid by
credit card or check. (Make the check payable to Triangle MLS, Inc) If you have
additional agents, with your firm, their fees can be included in with this check.
Subscriber/Password
Security Agreement. Each subscriber of TMLS must complete this form
Internet Data Exchange
(IDX Agreement). On this form you indicate your office's participation
in the IDX program.
Eliminate
Payment Hassle Form (optional). Complete this authorization form to allow
TMLS to bill your credit card to pay your monthly TMLS bill.
Letter
of Good Standing from the Association where applicant holds Primary Participation.
