over 1,400 gifts to Project Angel Tree
CARY,
NC- On Wednesday, December 6, 2006 at 10:00am the
Raleigh Regional Association of REALTORS® had their annual Project Angel Tree
gift loading. This year 1,400 new gifts were loaded onto multiple trucks
and sent to underprivileged children at Guardian ad Litem, Building Together
Ministries and Diamante. Santa and Mrs. Clause also helped load the gifts.
“Every year, I
am amazed at the generosity of our members as they participate in Project
Angel Tree!!! This year, our goal was 1000 gifts, and when all was said
and done, we had exceeded that number by 400!!! It makes me proud
to be a part of an organization that digs so deep to help needy
children in our community,” said Amy Poole Butler, RRAR Community Service
Committee Chairperson.
This is the 5th
annual Project Angel Tree for the Raleigh Regional Association of REALTORS®.
Holiday cheer was offered up in mass as the “helpers”
made a human chain and loaded the gifts while singing Christmas Carols!
