Opportunity Community Outreach Event
RALEIGH, N.C. – John
Wood, president of the Raleigh Regional Association of REALTORS® (RRAR) (www.rrar.com), announced that the Association’s
Housing Opportunity Committee will host a Housing Opportunity Phone Bank
telethon on Tuesday, May 26 at 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the NBC 17 news station
located at 1205 Front Street. NBC 17 will run a newscast about the local
real estate market and will have REALTORS®, attorneys and lenders
on set to answer questions from callers around the viewing area. The on-air
panel will address questions from callers concerning credit, equity, refinancing,
loan modification and any other questions potential buyers and sellers have
about real estate. RRAR member John Hartofelis is the chairman of the Housing
Opportunity Committee. Committee members Autumne Bennett and Suzanne Burton
organized the telethon.
For more than 70 years, the Raleigh Regional Association of REALTORS® has
been the area’s leader in real estate, providing quality programs to help
its members deliver a myriad of real estate services in the Raleigh area.
