Eddie Brown Recognized as 2007 REALTOR® OF THE YEAR Raleigh, NC (January 11, 2008) – Eddie Brown was named REALTOR® of the Year by the Raleigh Regional Association of REALTORS® (RRAR). Brown received this recognition at the association’s annual inaugural ball at the Northridge Country Club. Involved in area real estate since 1982, Brown is a livelong resident of The Triangle. He is the broker in charge at Fonville Morisey Realty in Raleigh. Brown’s long list of accomplishments include his role as RRAR President in 2003, serving on NC Real Estate Commission Education Task Force, representing RRAR to the National Association of Realtors and beginning his term as Triangle Multiple Listing Services Director in 2008. This term will run through 2011. He is also past president of the Wildwood Green Homeowners Association and Fonville Morisey Realty Manager of the Year in 2001. Just as significant are his many personal accomplishments which include serving in the United States Marine Corps, as a Raleigh police officer, recognition in 1978 as the volunteer firefighter of the year and a degree from UNC Wilmington in political science.
