RRAR Top Producers Give Back
By Volunteering With Meals on Wheels
Raleigh, NC (October 18) - The Raleigh Regional Association of REALTORS® (RRAR)
Top Producers Council, co-chaired by Jane Allen Purtell and Melanie Osborne,
will be participating and volunteering with the Meals on Wheels Program through
their Adopt A Day Program by delivering food in Wake County on October 24
and November 14.
RRAR’s Top Producers Council was established in 1999 to give the Top Producers
in the Triangle an opportunity to network with one another. Membership criteria
are based upon annual production of $10,000,000 in gross sales, or 50 transactions. Helping
Meals on Wheels is one of the many ways the Top Producers give back to the
community. The Council is best known for its philanthropic spirit - making
donations to various groups, including Meals on Wheels, the Shepherd’s Table
Soup Kitchen, New Bern House, and many more.
Since 1974, Meals on Wheels has been providing nutritious meals to the homebound
elderly and persons with disabilities in
Wake
County in an effort to improve health, reduce isolation, and prevent inappropriate
institutionalization. Serving close to 1,300 meals daily to homes
and nutrition centers, Meals on Wheels provides the frailest of our community’s
citizens with a voice to achieve healthful independence.
