Cary, NC (December 3, 2007) – Members of the Raleigh Regional Association of REALTORS® (RRAR) will convene at 11am to load trucks with more than 1,500 wrapped gifts for Project Angel Tree.  Adding spice to this RRAR holiday tradition, REALTOR® motorcycle rider members will provide an escort to the trucks that will deliver the toys to a holding facility in Raleigh.

RRAR’s Community Service Committee is partnering with Friends of Wake County Guardian ad Litem to sponsor the program.  For the seventh year and in the spirit of the season, RRAR members help to provide for needy children who might otherwise go without.

The RRAR Community Service Chairwoman, Mindy Oberhardt said, “RRAR members are proud to be part of this worthy tradition of enriching the lives of children who need it most.”

The children range in age from newborn to eighteen years old; are not under the financial umbrella of other organizations; have been removed from their family of origin because of abuse or neglect; or are living with extended family members.

With more than 6200 members, RRAR promotes the highest ethical and professional standards and cooperation among its members; provides products, programs and services to meet the evolving needs of the real estate industry and consumers; serves as leading advocate of private property rights and community involvement.

Friends of Wake County Guardian ad Litem is run entirely by volunteers who donate their time, talent and resources to ensure that 100% of all donations go directly to further their mission and donations are 100% tax-deductible.  For more information regarding Guardian ad Litem visit http://www.wakecountygal.org/friends_of_gal1.htm
